Welcome to sixth grade science and math!

My passion for education began right here on Bainbridge as a student. I was inspired by many amazing teachers who sparked and fueled my love of learning. After living in New England for several years—where I went to college, taught, coached, and earned a master’s degree in Secondary Biology—I missed the natural beauty of the Northwest and my family. I returned home to teach Biology at the high school and coach the girls' high school swim team.

I took a break from my career to raise my children and spend time with my elderly parents. During this time, I’ve stayed involved in the school community by volunteering, being an active member of the PTOs, and subbing. Now, I am thrilled to return to the classroom!

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time on the water or outdoors with my husband, Brian, and our kids, Wyatt and Fiona. We call ourselves the “Zoo House” because our home is often buzzing with activity and a LOT of animals. As a family, we love boating and playing games together.
