Welcome to 5th Grade!!! I have been teaching since 2013, with four of those years being in Overland Park, KS, one year on Mercer Island, and three years here on Bainbridge Island at Blakely. I feel so lucky to be at Sakai now because it's the most wonderful place to learn and make friends! My family includes my husband, Mr. Meyers, who works as an architect in Seattle. We also have one child, Charlie, who loves to climb, run, and play racket sports. Additionally, we have two cats, Maggie and Moose, and one crazy doodle named Theo. You'll often see us biking around the island or hanging at the beach with Charlie and Theo. We love being outside all year long, whether it's paddle boarding around the island during the summer or heading to the mountains for a ski weekend in the winter. I can't wait to spend the year learning together and having fun in 5th grade. Get ready for loads of laughter, dozens of dance parties, and an amazing team of teachers who love teaching 5th grade!! ❤
