My name is Sue Miller (sometimes you'll see it as Mary Miller - both are correct!), and I have been teaching at Sakai since 2011. I have taught both 5th and 6th grade - usually Language Arts and Social Studies. I came to teaching later in life, but it was worth the wait! Working with this age group is filled with laughter and incredible connections - there is nothing else I would rather be doing. 

I have lived in Washington since 2007 - my husband was in the military, so we moved a lot. I love the weather and the mountains and the water and the people of the northwest - I am so happy we ended up here. I have two grown kids and a cattle dog named Maddie - she's crazy. Her nickname is Baby Shark ;)

I am looking forward to meeting all of you and spending the year learning and growing together.
